Schedule for Fair Days

Wednesday, March 26 - Project Setup

4:00 p.m.

Start of on-site registration, project setup, safety checks.

Registration, set-up and safety checks complete.

Thursday, March 27 - Student Activities

8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.

Students gather in the student Centre

8:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Students move to chosen Activity Track A or B (Track selection will be done on Activity Day with the grade 9 to 12 students following track B.)

Students will eat lunch in the Student Centre.  We encourage students to bring a lunch from home; The Student Centre also has food available for purchase.  Students will NOT be permitted to go elsewhere for lunch.

12:45 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Students leave Student Centre and go to their projects in Athletic Centre Gym for afternoon judging.


1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Students to be at their projects for judging

As Students exit Athletics Centre   Gymnasium

Viewing of hybrid vehicles will be available just outside the Lecture Hall.  Viewing will be prior to first presentation and at Lunch in small groups.  Viewing will be dependant on the availability of the vehicles and the outside weather until 12:45 p.m.

Thursday, March 27 - Judging

8:00 a.m.

Judges begin arriving.

The Trafalgar campus of the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is located on the West side of Trafalgar Drive in Oakville, just North of the QEW.

Awards Ceremony at the St Volodymyr Cultural Centre

There will be shuttle buses running between Sheridan and the St Volodymyr Cultural Centre.
