    April 8, 2001
Well, it's over once again. Our 41st Hamilton-Wentworth and Halton Science & Engineering Fair has been tremendous, and we wish to thank everyone who helped make it all happen. This includes our wonderful team of organizers and volunteers, all the sponsors who gave so generously, the judges who have provided the project assessments and feedback to so many students, and the students themselves, with their tremendous projects.
We'd also like to thank all of the parents, teachers and mentors who work so hard behind the scenes to help bring out the best the students are capable of. And last but not least, all the people at Sheridan College, for ensuring that their first hosting of the science fair was done with excellence in every way, and stands as one of the best we have seen! Thank You all!
We'd appreciate hearing back from you, if you have any comments on this year's fair. Just E mail us at hwhsef@mcmaster.ca .

Thank you, from the Organizing Committee, HWHSEF 2001.

    March 23, 2001 - 12 days to go!
We have had a good turnout for this year's Science Fair! Nearly 270 students have registered their projects. A few haven't sent in their signed approval forms yet; please do so ASAP!
There was enough interest in busing from Hamilton area to Sheridan College to arrange for 1 bus. We have a waiting list for this bus, so if you were notified by your teacher about bussing, please get your form and fee in right away, or contact us to let us know you are no longer interested, so we can offer your seat to someone else. If you have sent in your form and fee, but think it might arrive late, please call or E mail us , so we will hold your seat for you!
We have a large number of Judges registered so far, but could use some more, so if you were thinking of judging, but haven't registered yet, now is the time to do it, by going to the Judges' section.
